Each paintball player will be issued with the latest paintball equipment consisting of a full face protective mask, overalls, gloves and the latest 'Inferno' semi-automatic gas powered paintball guns. They offer unbelievable accuracy, although player ability factors into this as well of course, reliability during play, they're comfortable, light weight and capable of putting up to seven paintballs into the air in one second.

We will provide you with the latest paintball goggle system, coloured to allow easy paintball team identification and complete with handy anti-fog lenses, so you'll always be able to see who is shooting at you.

Smoke grenades are available at our venue for a nominal additional cost, useful for covering an attack or obscuring a tactical retreat.

You will need to wear comfortable clothing and footwear, boots or trainers are ideal, we'll give you some overalls to put over whatever you wear, so no need to worry about getting too mucky.

Frequently asked questions about our paintball operations

  • What do I need to bring on the day?
    We suggest that you wear old, comfortable clothing and good sturdy footwear for your paintball session. Overalls and all other equipment necessities are met by us.

  • Can I bring my own paintballs?
    No. We do not allow any paintballs on site, other than those provided by Ancaster Paintball.

  • How many paintballs will I need?
    Most people will use between 500 paintballs for a half day paintballing session and 1000 paintballs for a full day. We normally advise that you allow at least 100 paintballs for each game, depending on how itchy your trigger finger is of course!

  • Is paintball suitable for children?
    Yes. However we have imposed an age limit of 12 for all our paintball players. This is because we feel people over this age will be more aware of the paintball rules, and an instructions our professional paintball marshalls issue.

  • What happens if it rains?
    Our paintball site is very clean and well drained, designed with such eventualities in mind in fact. Rain does not affect play in any way, other than to make it all the more challenging!

  • What times do the paintball sessions start and finish?
    All briefings begin at 9:15-9:30, and our half day sessions finish at around 12:30. Full day paintball sessions finish at around 15:30, including a 30 minute break for lunch.

  • Do you supply food?
    Some of our paintball packages do include food, however if yours does not, then you can order as much as you like on arrival.

  • Can I bring my own paintball gun?
    We only allow players to bring their own paintball guns and paintball equipment on our walk-on days.
